Group home staff needed for foster care boys

Catalyst Community Corporation is a boys group home company located in the East Valley (Mesa/Queen Creek). These are foster care teenage boys that are in Arizona Department of Child Safety and tribal custody and are wards of the court. We need people with a lot of experience, capable of working alone, and the pay depends on your experience in this field. We are hiring staff for weekday overnight shifts and weekend day and overnight shifts. Full time staff needed only.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

~ Experience with foster youth

~ Minimum of 1 year experience working with kids/youth

~ Ability to supervise teenagers at all times

~ Promotes healthy boundaries with staff and youth

~ Good housekeeping/cooking skills

~ Ability to complete all job required forms

~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

~ Attention to detail

~ Applicants applying for management need to have management/leadership and group home staff experience

Requirements:

~ Minimum high school diploma.

~ Be able to pass pre-employment drug and criminal background check

~ Be able to pass CPR/1st Aid, and CIT/CPI/Prevention and Support classes

~ Have a Valid Driver's License and obtain a 5 year DMV certified driving record, and also must have current auto insurance

~ Be medically cleared to work. The company will cover the costs of this.

~ Be over 21 years of age

~ Possess a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of applying

~ Pass a federally required out-of-state Adam Walsh Background Check (if applicable)
