 Previous experience in a medical practice is great but not essential.  People who have succeeded in this job have come from many backgrounds.  Commitment to detail, learning, concern for others, and team work are the essential skills. 

 As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will share responsibility for the front office (to ensure efficient operations) You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely and friendly manner.

Some Responsibilities

  • Checking Patient in and Checking Patients Out
  • Answering Phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Taking accurate and complete messages
  • Preparing charts for patient visits
  • Insurance verification
  • Data entry of Patient information

Preferred Skills

  • Proven working experience as a Patient Care Coordinator or similar position
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
