 Previous experience in a medical practice is great but not essential.  People who have succeeded in this job have come from many backgrounds.  Commitment to detail, learning, concern for others, and teamwork are the essential skills. 

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Some Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history and medications
• Assist during medical examinations.
• Assist during minor surgical procedures and wound care.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
• Maintain equipment in good working order.
• Monitor Inventory to ensure materials are available when needed.

Preferred Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant or similar position.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
